You already have learned how to give your robot the ability to communicate with you by using a text-based LCD display and by generating sounds of its own. This column will raise the bar a little higher yet by showing how you can give your robot a voice so that it can simply tell you something instead of requiring you to read a display or interpret a set of tones.
