Grand Idea Studio

ThinkFirst Health Education Robot

In collaboration with ThinkFirst, a national injury prevention program dedicated to the education and prevention of traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, Grand Idea Studio created and donated the ThinkFirst Health Education Robot.

The robot is used by ThinkFirst's North County Chapter (located in Encinitas, California) at local health and fitness expositions to educate kids about safety and injury prevention.

The robot's eight directions of motion are controlled with a television remote control via infrared. Ten health- and safety-related true-or-false trivia questions are spoken in English through an on-board speaker or optional FM transmitter (for reception on a standard FM radio) and the user answers the question with the remote control.
