The Comedy Blaster Pocket Comedian was a novelty toy designed to appeal to people with a comic personality. Comedy Blaster played five pre-recorded comedy sound effects through an internal speaker. With the push of a button, a user could enhance any joke, story, or embarrassing situation with an audience laugh track, rim shot, or other hilarious comedy sounds. The sound samples could be changed during the manufacturing process at no additional cost.
